Dear members,

As the year is coming to a close Harrington United Football Club has a had a very busy season 2025.
The club would like to thank all 1100 players, coaches and managers. We applaud your support especially with the restricted ground access for the last 4 years while Harrington Reserve is being upgraded.

Our Winter competition teams were very well represented in all age groups, a special mention to the following teams:

U12/2 girls-Premiers. Proudly sponsored by Tazzi Drilling.
U13 MYL girls-Premiers and Champions. They were also crowned Club Champions team of the year. Proudly sponsored by ASAP Fire.
U14/2 girls-Champions. Proudly sponsored by Z Wealth group.
U12/1 MYL boys-Champions. Proudly sponsored by Tazzi Drilling and SPC Joinery.
U142 boys-Champions. Proudly sponsored by Barrett Building Solutions.
AA5-Premiers.
AA9-Champions.

We thank all our miniroos teams, junior competition teams, senior competition teams, MSAP teams and M League teams.
A massive thank you to our 28 sponsors, who supported our teams.

Exciting times are ahead with the works at Harrington Reserve commencing in September. The scheduled finish timeframe is hopefully mid 2026.

Summer competition 2025 only finished last Tuesday. It was a massive 10 weeks with just over 1300 players. It was challenging with interruptions to the ground at Emerald Hills. It was unplayable for 3 weeks. We managed to get through every round of the competition and completed a final series.
Congratulations to the winners and runners up.
A special mention to the other 120 teams that entered the competition. We are very excited and hopeful that next summer’s competition will be at Harrington Reserve.

Thank you to the general committee that helped in 2025. We can’t run this amazing club without our volunteers. We welcome our new committee members for season 2026.

A massive thank you to our current executive committee. It’s been a very busy season 2025, with running back to back winter and summer competitions.

Harrington United Football Club wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Thank you

Sport has the power to change lives. It helps increase confidence, generates social connectedness, improves resilience and provides a real sense of belonging. That’s why Gatorade’s Fuel Tomorrow program aims to help 2.5 million teens across the world access the life-changing power of sport by 2030. Locally, La Trobe University was commissioned to conduct a study to understand how confidence affects teen sports participation – the results of which underpin our entire Fuel Tomorrow program.
